Hello,
      I mistakenly joined this list thinking I would find a wonderful Basset breeder from whom to purchase a male puppy (I've had Basset hounds since our first one from Bonnie and Paul Christian of Pilgrim BHC many years ago).  But I realize now that this is a conversation among friends.  What I've eavesdropped tells me you are devoted to your Bassets and they are one, or more, of your children - just like ours have always been.  Best wishes to all of you, and if there is a West Coast breeder among you who plans on having a breeding (I was told the breeder I got my wonderful Ethan from was no longer breeding), I would love to be informed (and I would provide Basset references!).  Thank you.
