What a wonderful box of surprises has just arrived. 
First out was the delightful set of coasters - A house is not a home without a basset hound - I am sure we all agree on that one. And they arrived at a perfect time as my existing basset coasters are getting a bit, shall we say, overused.
Then two lovely basset cushion covers. They are adorable. I had recently bought some quite similar (but not the same) to auction off for Senior Houndsabound's calendar contest and was having pangs about getting rid of them. Not any more! My only challenge now will be to stop Clara stealing them, as she loves a good cushion.
The two polo shirts are great colours and absolutely ideal. And it wasn't until I was gathering up all the packaging to put in the recycling that the basset pin fell out. I was so pleased I hadn't missed it. Every year when I attend our major basset club events (picnics, barbecues, fun day and especially the Christmas dinner) I wear as much basset crap jewellry as possible, so this will be getting pride of place. Having said that, it is discreet enough to go on my coat lapel for every day.
And all this on top of all those boxes of treats for Rolph and Clara.
Karyn, I can't thank you enough for the lovely gifts. And it was really smart of you to use Amazon to send gifts abroad, I think I might investigate that in the future as my family live all over the world.
And please give extra tummy scritches to your lovely boy.
