Hi Ellie,
  Well, our postal service is still shut down even though today was bright and sunny again.  The Post Office closed Wednesday in anticipation of the hurricane, and decided to stay closed until Monday just in case.  sigh.  Perhaps the decision was mad state wise, taking into consideration when it might impact each of the eight islands in the chain, I don’t know.  Aside from the eastern side of our island (I live on the west side), the impact of the hurricane was not nearly so destructive as anticipated, and most locales were hardly impacted at all.

So, anyway, I caved after driving to the Post Office this morning and finding it still shuttered up, and went with UPS instead, which was gracious enough to be open today.  there was a line outside of post office seekers.  you should receive your box on the 31st, which I think is next Friday.  i have the tracking number in my wallet but it is not nearby as I write just now.  if there are any problems, I am saving the tracking info. and can easily send it to you.
