Females humping each other and owners is not the same issue (in my
opinion) as a male dog,intact, fully capable of reaching climax. For
one thing, you don't have to clean up after the girls. Much humping
is,indeed, an effort to determine pack rank. Some of it is just plain
rank.

My boys laugh at a squirt of water when they are in the throes of
amourously induced humping. Their minds are elsewhere. You have very
exceptional dogs if they pay attention to a squirt of water when they
are hormonally charged. You are really lucky.
