Of course, the question "Do basset hounds shed?" is similar to asking, "Is the Pope Catholic?"

Seeing Frank the Tank's newest video reminded me of the time I visited my sister Susan in Missouri about a decade ago. It was May, I think. I brushed her Sammy (now ATB), and it was a good thing I did it outside. Sammy had enough undercoat to keep a Highland sheep warm in the winter. When I was done, there was a pile of gray fur on the lawn that was so large, it looked like her cat, Butch, was lying in the grass.
