[Dailydrool] Help for Bertha

You didn't mention how old Bertha is. I'm guessing she will out grow
the chewing. With her being crate trained, I would crate her when doing
any task that is food related. She could also benefit from a peanut
butter kong for times when the humans are distracted. Is mom cleaning
her ears? It sounds like she's bonded to Dad, so I would have Dad clean
the ears. If she needs to be muzzled, do this before she leaves the
crate. As far as snapping, I'd snap too is someone bit my ear. This
isn't an indication that she doesn't get along with other dogs. I would
also use the crate to curb any un-wanted behaviors.

The dog is acting in accordance with her species. They can only counter
cruise when humans leave things out, including trash.

Good Luck. Hopefully Dad will be able to take some pressure off of Mom.
