[Dailydrool] pink snout

Has anyone had experience with their basset losing the color in his nose? My
boy's black nose is turning pink.  The vet says not to worry but this past
winter it was dry and peeling where the black and pink met.  It's almost all
pink now and sometimes very dry and cracked.
