[Dailydrool] request for drool please

I'm soooo horribly behind in my drools (last count had about 60 to read)... but I wanted to see if I could beg for some drool for our baby Max. He was rushed into the vets when he suddenly started acting like he was in pain & looked like his belly was about to blow up. He was immediately taken into surgery for bloat... they said the surgery went well but that if it had been any longer at all, it could have had a very different outcome. If all goes well, he'll be home late tonight or early tomorrow.... but will be quite sad he can't play with my nephew (not to mention how sad my nephew is already) and that he won't be allowed to jump into his favorite recliner. I won't really be happy till I can see him when I get to Buffalo on Tuesday... but I know the rest of the family can spoil him until then. Does anyone have any advice on helping him have a quick recovery? can he go right back to his regular food or should he start out with some soft foods? Thanks for any help you can
offer & I'm sure Max sends any extra drool he has for all in need.
