[Dailydrool] hot

It is incredibly hot here today.  Supposed to get to 100 which is hotter than usual.  Bassets do not like hot.  Neither do I.

All of them are off their food.  No one has touched their breakfast yet.  I gave Sunny a boiled egg and it is still laying on the floor.  The other two sniffed it and left it there.  That's never happened before.  The house is cool but no one is moving or eating.  

Sunny and Ninja are going to the vet for shots today.  I am worried about what they will think of Sunny.  Even with a bath she still looks like a scarecrow dog.  I can't get near her ears or paws so maybe they can.  At least the two of them ride ok in the car.  Sunny's spine sticks up all down her back which I guess means she's too skinny but she eats and gets treats every day.  Poor old thing.  She is still somewhat gray on one side from the mud she got in yesterday.  I could only wipe so much off before she started crabbing at me.  

I am trying to get a 16 year old to clean up his room.  He reminds me of a flat basset in that if he doesn't want to move he wont.  At least bassets aren't 6'3".

I need to quit typing and start motivating things to move.
