[Dailydrool] Basset/Beagle

Last year when we were having some issues (to put it nicely) with the local humane society, a supervisor in their rescue & investigation unit kept referring to our bassets as beagles.  Each time, I corrected him.  Finally, I told him (nicely) he needed to borrow the dog breed book from either their vet clinic or their shelter.  I explained that if his staff or him could not tell the difference between a basset and a beagle perhaps they should work somewhere other than a humane society.
