Hi everyone,
                  Just thought you might like to see some of the 
pictures from the houndshow.
                  Its one of the big shows just for hounds over in 
the 
uk.
                  One of the big attractions is the parade of working 
packs in the afternoon.

                   There are normally at least six packs in the 
parade, they come into the ring, go 
                   round once so everyone can see them then the judge 
goes and inspects each
                   pack. While the judge is making up her mind who is 
going to get the prize for the
                   best pack the public are allowed in to the ring to 
meet and interact with the dogs,
                   and ask the handlers any questions.
     
                  For the past few years it has always been the 
bloodhounds who have taken the 
                  first prize but unfortuneatly this year they got 
held up on the way to the show and
                  couldn"t make it. One of the other packs who where 
missing was the mink/otterhound
                  pack which has been disbanded. All the packs are 
working hounds who still hunt. The
                 winners this year was the The Ryford Chase Griffon 
Vendeens.
