I had to laugh when the fellow drooler talked about her  basset playing with 
her food.  My basset, Ethel, does the same  thing.  She will get a mouth full 
of food and walk to the next room drop  it (pieces) all over and eat it AND 
play with it.  Tossing it in the air  like they are little balls....oh the 
entertainment we have at meal time.   Smiling!  You Gotta Love Those Bassets!!
