[Dailydrool] Miss Angela at Dog Day

Our local swimming pool (payed for by the homeowners in the neighborhood but maintained and operated by the city) had its last day of operation for swimming last Sunday.  They then drained out the chlorinated water and refilled the pool with clear, clean water.   Then, on Monday, they had their annual Dog Day.  From 5:30 to 8:30, the pool was open for dogs.  It was a fundraiser for the Humane Society so humans paid $10 each.  Dogs were free.  There were contests and raffles
(no costume contest) but the big fun was watching the dogs frolic in the water.
Unfortunately, Miss Angela declined to participate. Though she loved the opportunity to meet and greet her fans,  she was a bit overwhelmed by all the dogs.  She loves Doggy Day Care, but this just flummoxed her.  I waded out into the water and put a  gentle tug on her leash, but she was adamant about staying out of the water.  Maybe she is holding out for the Country Club or something.  I have absolutely no idea.   She was sooooo eager to get out of the congestion and go home.   

Drool to all in need and consolation to BobtheDog and others who have suffered losses.
