Aw, clumbers are adorable! I grew up with St. Bernards, and always thought that clumbers looked like love children of bassets and saints. Of course, the dog park I used to take Waldo to had a basset-saint mix, and it looked nothing like a clumber, so obviously my knowledge of inheritance and recessive genes is somewhat faulty!

I was out car shopping today. Of course, I had on an Ohio basset Rescue
tee-shirt.
As I was talking to the salesman about what I wanted. He asked me "Do
you have Pointers?" The man evidently can't read and I won't be buying a
car there.
Besides the Bassets, Beagles and Cocker Spaniel, I also have two Clumber
Spaniels. One day I was walking Chum the Clumber, a car pulled up next
to me and the driver asked if I was walking a sheep.
