We used to call this "vacuuming".Our first basset, who ate everything
anyway, did a lot of it and it usually meant he was going to throw up.
However, your interpretation that he was trying eat grass suddenly sounds
100% correct. I NEVER THOUGHT OF IT THAT WAY!!! You have taught me something
wonderful and brand new!
