[Dailydrool] neutering question

hi all - there's been much talk about neutering the past few days ... scrotum ablation ... the "new" way ... etc. 
 
my baby Moses is getting neutered tomorrow. we made the appointment w/ our vet over a month ago. but there was no mention of the type or method being used. 
 
can i assume it's just the regular procedure neuture?? or should i check it out??
