[Dailydrool] Question for my thesis

Hi, Eleri,

Well, I have had a few dogs in my life, some good, some perhaps more
"challenging". ;)

I think that my definition of a good dog would be similar to my definition
of a good friend.

- Comfortable to spend time with.
- We enjoy the same sorts of things (this is the reason that I don't have,
for example, a Border Collie - way too much energy for me!)
- They are happy to see me most days.
- I can tell them what's going on in my life and they seem interested, but
they also don't push their own ideas down my throat - they are good
listeners...(ok, I do know that they are mostly wondering when the cookie is
coming, but they *look* like they are interested).
- They have interesting personalities of their own, and so they contribute
to our relationship and interactions.- I can, most of the time, trust them
in the house with my things.
- They get along with others who live with or visit with me - they have good
social skills, so that when we spend time together with others, I'm
comfortable with that.
- They've got my back, and will give me a heads up if they think that danger
is looming. ;)

Hope this helps.
