[Dailydrool] a new Sweetie

Hi Droolers:  Roger and I are adopting a 2 year old Basset on  
Saturday.  You may remember Susan's (Bluegrass Rescue) post last week  
regarding two Bassets in the Bardstown (Kentucky) shelter.  She  
contacted Lisa (Lisa's Lil Friends)
in Berea (Kentucky) and Lisa pulled both bassets from the Bardstown  
shelter. We said we would adopt the 2 year old Basset as our Beanie is  
2.  Hopefully
they will have similar energy levels and will enjoy playing together.   
I think the other Basset has a place as well.  We have named our girl  
Two yah, which is Cherokee for Bean.  We will call her Twoie.
We know nothing about her except that Lisa said she is sweet and  
loving.  She will be spayed tomorrow and checked for heartworms,   
given her immunizations, etc.  Any drool sent her way will be  
appreciated.
We are praying that she will come through her surgery well and does  
not have any serious health problems.  We will bring her home on  
Saturday.  Berea is only 100 miles from where we live.  I can't wait!

I contacted Cookie for another ornament for Twoie.  Tuck and Beanie's  
ornaments have arrived and they are DELIGHTFUL.  They will be a  
special keepsake for Twoie's first Christmas with us.
