[Dailydrool] A howliday warning for dogs

That was a great article with warnings about Christmas trees and pets. I
have one more warning to add as this season starts.

Please be careful about what's in the presents you wrap and put under the
tree. Or the presents you're given -- don't put them under the tree until
you're sure there's nothing in them that could hurt your furbabies.

A friend of mine was given a Christmas present, and without thinking added
it to the pile under the tree. What she didn't know was that it was
chocolate. Her beautiful Golden Retriever sniffed it out, opened it up, ate it, and
died.

It was a horrible tragedy, and she's still blaming herself.

Wishing all a safe, happy, healthy, and joyous howliday season --

Fondly,
Beth (Duchess ATB and Blueberry ATB)
