The only method we have successfully used requires you to see the poop
before it is eaten.  You simply "season" the poops with
tobasco sauce.

Other methods reputed to work, but I have no
personal knowlege:
FORBID or other commercial products that you feed
to the dog whose poop is being eaten.  As a point of interest, the ad
for Forbid has a basset.

Add one or moere of the following to
the diet of the dog whose poop is being eaten:  Meat tenderizer,
spinach, fig newtons
