[Dailydrool] update on Jack and howliday cards

Hi everyone.  Well it's been 2 weeks since I lost my Sophie, and I miss her so much. However, Jack had to go back to the vetman last Saturday for a follow up on his infected anal Gland.  Guess what??  Clean.  No antibiotics needed this time.  I took Molly with me too just to have a check up.  After loosing Sophie, something told me to take her in.  Well you all remember the fiasco of the Unwanted Christmas Puppies being so malnourished, and hardly any hair from urine burn etc.  Well she has plenty of hair.  She was also born with a deformed right front leg, way too bowed and she walks on the back of the pad, and she walks on the back of the pad on her right rear as well.  So I guess both right legs are deformed, but only the front really looks it.  
Now I am real glad I took her in.  The longer he listened to her heart the more I began to worry.  And yep, she has one valve not functioning at 100%.  Not bad enough to start meds yet, but down the road.  At least that explains the cough she has always had after playing hard, and why she always needed to rest 3 or 4 times when I would take all 3 out for a walk.  I don't know why my vet in California didn't catch that or why the first vet I went to here didn't catch it.  So I just have to keep an eye on here and when the water weight starts we get her on medication.  And she is only 3.  
 
Anyway, I did manage to get on the christmas list, the short list.  Amanda sent out an update monday, with my address and a few other late arrivals.   So I'll be sending my cards out about the 17th.  I got my labels from Amanda today.  
 
Ok enough for now, ahroooos to everybody, healing drool to those in need, and ears hung low for those who have passed.
