Before you have another dirty-hound event, get some old towels and put them near the usual basset entrance. When dirty hounds come in, you will be ready to wipe them down in an instant. If a towel alone is not enough, keep some baby wipes there too. If you can grab a hound, towel it down, and wipe those dirty pawsies and other areas, you'll have less goop in the house.
