[Dailydrool] Arthur ate our luminary candles

We live in a subdivision with 130 homes. A few years ago someone decided we should all put out luminaries on Christmas eve. The lady who began organizing the event worked at Wal-Mart and bought all the candles and bags. A thousand or so. There are volunteers who then pick up the candles and bags from her and distribute to all the homes. Depending on the size of your lot and if you are on a corner, you may need 12 candles or you may need 50. Luckily we are one that only needs 12. Our candles were delivered on Sunday. Monday night when I came home from work 3 candles were missing. One of the early years she couldn't get enough plain candles so bought vanilla. So vanilla has become a tradition. The entire subdivision smells like vanilla on Christmas eve. Anyway, I guess they smelled like vanilla cookies and Arthur (we know it was him) ate them. Doesn't sound too funny as I am writing this. Guess you had to be there! Ann, Lance, Daisy, Arthur, and Lizzy.
