[Dailydrool] Please Help Severe Need for Foster Homes in Pacific Northwest

I'm writing, again, to appeal for anyone who has ever had even a fleeting
thought about fostering to step forward and give it a try for one dog.

I am full up, and putting off dogs that really do need to come into care so
that they can be placed in new homes. I talked with Oregon Basset Rescue
yesterday and they have 15 dogs in care, and a number backed up that they
cannot take in.

Folks, rescues are really at a crisis point. Specifically in Western
Washington and Oregon, we are at a breaking point. Please, if you support
rescue, it's time to step up and foster. This is a short term commitment,
very satisfying, and is the linchpin of the rescue system. Without foster
homes, these dogs will end up in shelters, in inappropriate "dumped" homes,
or literally dumped on the streets.

We need your help. These Bassets need your help. Who fostered your beloved
Basset before they came to you? Can you pay it forward?

Please help.
