[Dailydrool] A Special Anniversary

It's been quite a while since my wife or I posted on the Drool. Today,  
however, is a special anniversary at our house and I wanted to share. Daphne  
(aka.. the big ole brown eyed girl, Witchy Pooh, and Daphne Darlin') has been  with 
our family 15 years today. We've always said she picked us because the day  
we first saw her, it was a cold early December day and of all the puppies, she  
crawled into our then 7 yr old son's lap and snuggled to keep warm. That was 
all  it took. She came home with us 2-3 weeks later, just in time for 
Christmas,  1993. She quickly became part of the family that now includes 2 rescues,  
Peabody, a 11 yr old border collie mix and Miss Hattie, a 13 yr old Basset.  
Make no mistake, even at 15, Daphne still pretty much runs things her way,  
between naps anyway. We're so glad she's still with us.
