[Dailydrool] Why a basset?

It started with pound puppies. As a child I loved stuffed animals. My
grandma sewed me her version of a pound puppy when I was young and I still
have him to this day. Said pound puppy was later used in a 4th grade book
report movie I made for "The Story of the Lost and Found Hound". I had no
clue though that these were signs of what would come. Fast forward 15 years
and Cowboy waddles into my heart officially branding me a basset slave for
life. Within 24 mos we have #2, Rupert. And I am now full on
addicted...looking forward to a life with bassets from here on out, and I
can't imagine it any  other way. I still ask James what our life was like
pre-Cowboy...it must've been so boring. :)
