[Dailydrool] pet store puppy

today at work i found out another nurse bought a puppy from a puppy 
store, a puppy store that had been in the news for selling sick 
animals.......it is a corgi.........she checked out a breeder and this 
store was $400. cheaper, so she took the bargain puppy home ........she 
brought the 8 week old puppy home on weds. and thursday morning he was 
very limp....she rushed him to the vet, who sent him straight to the 
emergency vet, and the puppy is in ICU.........it is saturday now and 
although there is a "health guarantee' she won't return the 
puppy........to save a few hundred dollars she is now in the proverbial 
hole for thousands, the pet store didn't really think she would return 
the puppy, and what do they care?  they have their $$.........i just 
want to wring her neck!!!  many other nurses i work with have rescued 
their dogs, and we even hung a picture board of all of our furkids, so 
she certainly knew about rescue, it is sad because they are not even 
sure if the poor thing will survive.......nancy, hershey and einstein  :-(
