[Dailydrool] this and that

Dear everyone,

 

We just got home from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and I was able to get
a basset fix while there. It is in the very small town of Grand Marais that
we stayed and we were leaving the lodge where we had had breakfast and there
was a couple checking out of their room and my DH says look Marty there's a
basset. I swung the car around and put the window down and asked if I could
have a basset fix. They may have thought it weird but they allowed us to pet
him. He was five years old and his name was Wilbur and a swwetheart.Of
course I checked to see if they we're droolers and they were not so I
explained it to them and my DH told them about the waddles in Wisconsin and
Illinois, they said they would check it out. The husband said the brown
truck never came to their house.

Today on our way home we went through the town of Shawano, Wisconsin and the
car in front of us had a vanity plate on that said DROOLER and had stuffed
bassets in the back window. If I could have I would have followed her but I
didn't want to be arrested as a stalker.

 

Anyway now I must get to the kennel and bail Jeff and Trudy out.
