[Dailydrool] Birthday, well sort of...

Yesterday was Crispin, our Sussex notawannabe's Birthday, he's 7 and
officially a senior. We got him almost 6 years ago (it'll be 6 years ago
next week.) It was also Checkers, dad's bagel's "Sort of Birthday." GABR
said they know he was born in July of 2006 from what little records the
shelter that found him had, but not what day, so to make it easier we
decided to give him and Crispin the same birthdate so they could both
celebrate at once. (Crispin wasn't too thrilled, I'm sure. He tolerates the
buppy, but that's about it. Funny thing is, Checkers is just like how he was
when we first got him! What a difference 6 yrs. makes!) So, as of yesterday
Checkers is "officially unofficially" 2 yrs. old, though doesn't seem to get
that he's an adult dog now. (Could his brain be delayed even longer since
he's not full basset?) All 3 of the boys got a small slice of pizza to
celebrate! (Checkers even learned how to take a bite and chew his; his older
counterparts mearly inhaled theirs!)

Due to the pizza they have loads of drool that they're flinging to all those
who need it! We're hoping that the sick & injured pups are all on the mend
soon!
