[Dailydrool] If I didn't have the drool

If I didn't have the Drool,
My doggies would still rule,
The house that is all theirs.

I wouldn't know about Bloat,
To people I couldn't gloat,
In a shirt covered with doggie hairs.

My friends would still think I'm strange,
I know I'll never change,
Bassets will always be mine.

I wouldn't know about rescue,
I'd have no change of venue,
For me Bassets are more than sublime.....

OK, I know it's not good but without the drool I never would have become 
involved in rescue, loving these silly hounds, and living life like a potato 
chip company... As in:
Bassets are like potato chips,
You can never have just one..
