[Dailydrool] Taste of the Wild

===============================

Hi, Jackie! Yes, this is the kibble I currently feed my dogs; and if
you were to know me, you'd know that is a ringing endorsement!

For about three years, we were feeding our bassets and our fosters
exclusively the Bones and Raw Food Diet - mornings was a mix of
veggies, ground meat or fish, eggs, and some olive oil and ACV.
Evenings was raw chicken pieces, or sometimes turkey, beef or fish.
(We switched to the raw diet originally (back in 2004) because my
Hector has terrible allergies to most grains.)

But - about six months ago, I noticed that their coats had lost some
of their raw-diet luster. I came to be concerned that perhaps they
weren't getting the right mix of vitamins and minerals, in spite of
all the research I had done. So I hunted around for a grain-free
kibble, and found a couple!!!! One is Nature's Variety "Raw
Instinct"; the other I have found is Taste of the Wild. Both of these
have no grains (their carb sources are potatoes or taro root), lots of
whole meat meal, veggies and fruits, and some good additives like
seaweed and other things.

So now we feed Taste of the Wild in the mornings, and raw meaty bones
in the evenings. Everyone does well on this kibble, including even
Hector, my allergy boy. My guys like all the varieties; the
Venison/Bison, the Fish, and the Roasted Fowl.

Has anyone tried Taste of the Wild? Especially the buffalo/bison mix?
