[Dailydrool] Nellie to the Bridge

I'm heartbroken about Susan's baby girl Nellie. At first, I couldn't comprehend what I was reading, that it was "our" Nellie, that sweet girl who was napping on the couch, covered with a blanket, not batting an eye, as her home was invaded for last year's Bluegrass Basset Picnic. I know she was so happy to have gone on vacation with her human family rather than staying in the kennel while Susan and the kids were on vacation earlier this month.
 
Susan, your description about seeing Rusty Paws tore me up. I do believe that it was him.
