Unfortunately you just don't know. Wire is stronger, more escape proof,
has better visibility and ventilation. My normally calm older girl raked
her nails across the plastic mesh and was out in an instant and the
crate was a useless hulk. She was just excited to get out.

Is the pup just going to eat right through it? Would I be better off
