[Dailydrool] E-Coli from Hound to Human?

        I need some help please.

        I have a supra pubic catheter. I have had it for a couple of years. My urologists office called earlier today. I have just been diagnosed with E-Coli for the 4th or 5th time this year. We have cleaned everything in the house, and sprayed everything down. I have been practicing great hygiene habits. I asked my nurse how in the world I could be getting sick, AGAIN. She said that anytime that an extra hole is put in the body, you just make another route for contamination to enter. 

        I think I read that some dogs have E-Coli. Is it possible for a dog to transfer E-coli to a human? Boomer is a champion poop eater. Is there anyway that he could transfer it to me? The Vet is going to give us some For-Bid tomorrow.  

        I am so tired of being sick with E-Coli. I am open to any ideas or suggestions. Please cc responses to me, so that I will see them for certain.
