[Dailydrool] DINGO DOG TREATS from United Animal Brands--CHOKING DANGER

Dear Drool Friends,

This is a warning about Dingo Chew Treats made by United Animal Brands in the Philippines. A week or so ago my mom's Shih Tzu got some of a Dingo treat caught in his throat and required over $1000 worth of treatment and surgery to get it out. But he's still not any better. Both the vet and my mother contacted UAB to complain and UAB might be reimbursing her for her costs.

Now the treat is supposed to dissolve, but my mom found a solid chunk of it in her dog's stool and he's still wheezing and, in her terms, "sneezing backwards," and it seems there is still some of the treat lodged behind his soft palate, and he might need more anaethesthia and surgery to remove that. After a week the little guy is still sick and lethargic.

Don't give your dogs these dangerous treats, and if you complain to UAB, please DO NOT mention the specifics of my mom's case.
