It's hard to believe that Nigel and Lewis might get their brains and suddenly lose the delightfully ditzy personalities we have come to love. We hope they don't get too brainy and sensible. It's also hard to imagine that they could turn into a pair of really calm bassets. May they always continue the counter cruising and trouble making.

Drool and prayers are added to the masses of them already floating in Zelda's direction. Though it's hard, we know that caring for a terminally ill basset can also be a time of building memories that never die. We hope there are many sweet ones for her and MomPerson.
