[Dailydrool] The World According to Norm - I'm Out Of Jail

It's me again - Norm!

FINALLY - I am out of jail.  I had a full day of parole today and I am not
limping, even after playing with Johnny, Hoagie and Opie.  Grady didn't want
to play today 'coz it was above 80 nickzillion degrees.  He's an old fart
and thinks that if he pants, he might expire!  Anyway, this morning Mom let
me go outside with everybody else and we got a MAJOR play going.  We have
243098 nickzillion trees in our yard, so we chased squirrels for a while.
Then we played tag and ran 'round and 'round the trees.  Then Hoagie and
Johnny played "King of the Picnic Tables" and Opie and I ran around the
tables barking.  We aren't big enough to jump up on the tables yet - and
besides, my jumpers still haven't arrived.  Then, Johnny got us in trouble
when he wanted to play the BBH game, so Mom made us come in for a rest.
After a little while, Opie and I got to go out alone and play.  I had to be
careful - he is still a lot smaller than me.  I played really nice with him
and laid on my back.  He chewed on my legs and ears - but when he started to
chew on my belly - well, you can see where that was going!  I had to put a
stop to that!  

 

I am really glad I got out of jail today 'coz Mom, the Parole Officer has to
go to TAXES!  I can't figure out why she wants to go to TAXES - I remember
her saying bad words when she did her taxes.  She says she doesn't have a
choice 'coz her Daddy has to go to an assisted living center and he is NOT
happy.  Mom says he is doing a flat basset with rabies thing.  He is saying
he won't go and he is being mean and nasty.  Maybe he didn't get his rabies
shot.   Mom says she may have to take him to the vet in Taxes - either that
or she will have to call for Margret (or is that Margarita's) to help her
get through this.

 

Anyway, I am a bit worried - I am not sure Dad has been fully trained on how
to feed me and that he understands that I am not in jail anymore.   Mom has
been tutoring him - no not neutering him - at least not yet!  Granny Pat is
on standby, in case Dad forgets.  And Johnny and I get to go to Granny Pat's
on Wednesday to get a bath for the dog show next weekend too!  Maybe we can
sneak in a playtime with the girls while we are there.  The worst part is
that Dad doesn't DO computers - so I won't be able to read the DD or write
anything to anybody.  So, I'll check back in with you when Mom gets home or
Dad gets computer literate - Yeah, right!
