Several years ago I had a sebaceous cyst removed from my forehead. The
surgeon was very skillful. He made a tiny cut and rolled the cyst
through the hole and cut it off. I was required to use tweezers and pack
gauze in the hole for some time to let it heal and come together from
the inside out. The cyst is gone and there is no indication it was ever
there. Follow your vet's instructions. He has good reasons for them.
