Brannigan is on today's calendar. He is one of the dogs owned by the late Bernie Johnson. Great picture! 

It is a good day to remember Bernie. I believe I met her during a basset transport. She was handing a dog over to me to head east. Good lady. Bernie was so angry at the owners of the dog because they just handed him/her over, and left, without a backwards glance. Cold! The dog was such a sweetie that I took a short detour to my house so my husband could meet him.

Does anyone know how her dogs are doing? Was Bernie married?
