I hope this message will be picked up, as I've been having computer trouble for awhile and the body of my messages haven't been picked up by the DD.  I'm glad to see Frances - Peggy Chudd's basset - will be on the Drool Calendar on the 13th.  We had a great road trip w/Raymond - travelling once again to Gilbert, AZ, to visit our son, daughter-in-law and their 2 beagles & cat.  The beagles seemed to recognize Raymond and vice versa.  I guess those 10 months they spent here recovering from Hurricane Katrina is still on their minds.  Each time we stopped on the road other travelers wanted to pet and talk to Raymond and asked about him.  I always gave the credit to our Mid America Basset Hound group for this wonderful guy and recommended basset rescue organizations to everyone.  He behaves very well in the different motelsk also.  We had good luck with Days Inn and LaQuinta.  I've been enjoying all the
 pictures that everyone is kind enough to post for me.  I wish I could do the same with pics of Raymond, but I can't seem to get the hang of it.  Hope all of the bassets and their slaves are having a good summer so far.  Wishing good health to all!
