This is an update on Sally, who was one of the adult females taken from the puppy mill.  Some of y'all may remember Sally's story.  When we brought her in to the vet, she had a c-section suture, more than 8 weeks old, which had never even had the stitches removed.  And she tested positive for heartworms.  Since this poor girl had been allowed to get pregnant, and been put through the risk and anesthesia of a c-section while heartworm positive, then nursed puppies!  SO we love to get an update like this one; no one deserves a besotted basset slave more than dogs like Sally.

I just wanted you all to know Sally is
doing great. I can even let her off the leash some between the house and HER
room!!! (Note: Sally's people are retired, and usually home, but when needed, Sally and her JRT brother stay in an air-conditioned room built into the shop out back). She got a NEW air conditioner this week, her’s in her room wasn't
doing what I thought it should do for her during the day!!!! Also she is doing
great with her baths now that we are doing them outside, she has HER
shampoo, but I add a cream rinse then she has HER PERFUME!!!! It smells
so good but is for dogs. Still loves everyone, and she has her own
clothes to wear when she goes out. I got her several scaves she has and she
will stands there until I get her dressed!!!LOL
