Hi Mary Lee
Morse also HATES his nails being done.  We have to wait until he is really fast asleep - almost comatose (a daily occurence, lol!) and then - CHOMP! - off with the nail!  But sometimes he does really jump with that, so we try and distract him with sausage too, and that can help. Morse is also over 70 lbs (currently crashing in at 77-78 lbs) so also difficult to manage when he's not happy!
