[Dailydrool] Nails & other things

We have a standing appointment with a mobile dog groomer who comes to my  
Mother's neighborhood to groom a neighbors dog every six weeks.  She lets  us 
know what time she is in the neighborhood and I bring Owen and Abraham over  to 
Mom's and she cuts their nails along with my mother's two dogs and my  
brother's dog.  She charges $10 per dog, so in 10 minutes she makes a quick  $50.00.  
The last time she came Abe was not so cooperative and snapped  his head around 
 as to nip her .  We did not continue and he was  stressed as I was.  
Yesterday I asked her to muzzle him and he was the  perfect child.  NOT once did he 
even move his head .   My  mother's bulldog was a different story...she was 
always perfect in the past but  yesterday she was not very cooperative.   I guess 
it depends on their  moods...!  
 
Abraham has a new friend...it's a chipmunk...!!!  He (the chipmunk )  is 
getting braver and kind of hangs out with all of us.  We named him  Schlomo...he 
actually ran up to Abe while he was on his outside bed ....Abe just  looked at 
him and put his head back down...kind of reminds me of his adventure  with the 
bird in the car!!!
 
We had an overnight guest last night...Layla the Pug.  Abraham only  plays 
with PUGS...haven't figured that one out yet.  He was having a blast  with 
her...although I think she was a little nervous but eventually started  playing 
with Abe.   A few months ago we went to Thompson Park in  Lincroft, NJ to meet up 
with Charlie Sagen, Einstein & Hershey Cohen ,  Cooper, Buster & Foster Vito  
and we put them in the large dog  area...Abe just walked around and ignored 
all the dogs...after the Cohens and  the Lemas left we put Charlie and Abe in 
with the small dogs...at least they are  small in height...once there Abraham 
found a 5 month old pug and had a  blast...!!!  Since that day , every pug he 
meets he plays with.
