[Dailydrool] Thunderstorms

Anyone know what to do about a basset that is scared to death of thunder?
She shakes uncontrollably and runs around the house with her tail between
her legs. I don't want her to have a heart attack from it but know how to
get her to calm down. I've tried distracting her with her favorite toy or a
bone but it doesn't seem to work.
