Thank you so much, Tri-State Basset Rescue, for once again having this event. Each time I attend, and I think I missed only one since they started, I enjoy it more and more. A special shout out to Walli, Dawn and Rich for the great jobs they do. Max and Little Nikki had a ball. The first time we brought Max back to event the year after we rescued him from the same location, I think he was a little nervous - "Oh No... back here again, not another new home." This year he was really relaxed, very secure in his forever home, and his tail was up and wagging the entire time. Little Nikki handled like a pro, and she was keeping a close look out for the Newsday photographers. Don't know if she found any, as my sister was handling the hounds while I SHOPPED. I am never disappointed in the selections that Dawn and Rich bring. My fridge is really beautiful, now, with all the new magnets, and Mom was really happy with the new "puppy" we got her - a Melissa and Doug stuffed basset - something I have been looking for a long time. I got a lot of stuff, too much to mention, and I actually meant to get more, but I really had to go. Also, and I think you can get them on line from Dawn, you really should check out the match boxes. The pictures do not due them justice. They are now in my collectibles collection, not to be used, but to cherish. I never get to stay as long as I wish, but I got to see some of the costumes. There were some very, very clever ones, and I hope someone took pictures to post online. Some of those bassets had patients of saints. Finally, Susan B., I know you were there somewhere and I didn't get a chance to say hi, but I know you were probably working hard to help, as were many others whom I am starting to get to know.

Thanks again for a great time.
