Yes, Fudge is the name he should have....that's his happy name. 
   
  That's exactly  why we changed our dude's name from Herman to Beaudreux. Herman was the name he had as a neglected hound and we wanted to erase those memories and give him a fresh start. Honestly, we worried a little  about making that change and how it might affect him to adjust to  a new name at his age. It was a needless worry.  He made the switch without looking back.
