My Calhoune ATB had warts on his elbows. He was a big, lazy boy who 
spent most of his day on the couch, the antique couch with the 
tapestry like fabric. So off we went to the vet. She said they were 
not warts, they were calluses. She asked whether Calhoune spent much 
time on cement. I told her that Calhoune touched cement only briefly 
when he had to relieve himself, that he spent most of his time on the 
couch. And the vet said - Then he has couch calluses.
