Some of you may recall we went through the same thing with Jill the
Bagel after thorasic surgery early this spring.  It will eventually
start oozing.  Bassets are so "pendulous" that serum does tend to
build up and then simply leak (sometimes explosively--Jill's shot 3
feet across the room when we applied direct pressure in (obviously)
the wrong spot on the incision).  But she survived and is pestier and
friskier and sweeter than ever!
