Today I habbed a biiiiig day, one dat mode my swabes weeeeeeew angwy, but  it 
be a venture for me.  Dey be goin up da stairs to do work.  Put  away summer 
cwoves, an bwing out da winter ones, an change da beds an cween da  woom.  
Weww, dey be gone for a wong time(ah hour Ben), an I be  a  borred an hungwy 
hound.  Weww, youz noze what we bassets be famous for,  ourz snooters.  Weww, i 
goez in da kitchen an mine snooters starts a  workin, an a sniffin an a smewwin. 
 So I pushes da chair to da  counter, cwimbs up an finds da source ob da 
yummy smewws.  It be da cookie  jars, dey smewws gwate.  Soz I noks ober one, da 
dad swabes basset on, an  it fawws on da fwoor an goez bwoke, an aw da widdle 
candy bars faw out, an  I  eerts dem aw up, wapper an aw.  Den I goes an  
knocks da cober  off da odder one, an eets more.  I weeb an goes in da odder woom.  
Da  mom comez down an scweems for da dad, an himz come down an be mad at me, 
cuz  himz noez who did it.  Weww, den I get to go for a wide to da mergency  
vetman, an dey makie me frow up what I don eeted. I frow upp for times, an  dey 
gibbed me somb bwack stuff to eets too.  Affer two hourz, I gets to go  home. 
 Da dad mutterz somfing bout beein poor as a churchmouse now,  whateber dat 
be.  I be westin now affer my big venture.
