I think we've got you all beat.  Way back when when  we only had a small
number of dogs, the spouse and I (both LARGE people) used to share our plain
old double bed with FOUR bassets.  It got so bad that some nights I would
get out of bed and sleep on the floor!  (notice I did not suggest a hound or
three sleep on the floor).  When the fifth hound moved in, we changed the
rules and they took turns, 2 hounds at a time.
